How many people feel like their hearts have been through the ringer? They get a hold of my book, read it, and this need to restore their hearts. They see the importance of guarding, protecting, and saving their hearts for the mate God has for them. But, where do they start?

1) Gods Word is living and active; it convicts, encourages, and gives peace. Immerse yourself in God's Word. God can take those hurts, pains, and unresolved issues and turn them into a blessing. When you want to think about the past, stop and grab a copy of God's word and start reading!

2) Rid your life of anything that is causing you to stumble. Maybe you are involved with someone where your emotional integrity is being challenged, this would be the place to start. Back off from this relationship, define it, and ask God to help you have the courage to do what He calls you to do.

3) Find accountability. Seek the friendship of someone who knows your heart for purity and open up. Let them know what you struggle with so they can really hold you accountable.
